Terms & Conditions
Drivers Licence
A full and current New Zealand, International or acceptable overseas licence is required. Minimum hire age is 21 years. Special excess applies for hirers between 21 and 25 years.
Rates
Rates are based on a 24 hour period. Rates include unlimited kilometers (unless otherwise stated) GST and standard insurance with excess of $1100. An excess reduction to $240 is available at a daily rate of $20. (minimum hire 5 days) Fuel is not included in rates.
Payment
Is required on commencement of hires by cash or major credit card.
Bond
A bond is required for all hires. Security taken by credit card imprint.
One Way Hires
Relocation fee and minimum hire period will apply.
Vehicles
Vehicles can be reserved by vehicle group only, specific vehicles can not be guaranteed. Luggage capacity is indicative only.
Accessories
Child seats/restraints, chains, chilly bins, luggage trailers, cycle trailers and cycle racks are available
by
arrangement.
Cancellations
Booking deposits are nonrefundable if a booking is cancelled within 14 days of commencement of hire. Cancellation within 7 days fee of 50% of hire applies. No show or cancellation on day of pick up full hire fee payable. Booking deposits are nonrefundable for one way hires. Refunds for early returns may apply only if 48 hours notice is given and authorised by Maugers Rentals. A minimum rental may apply to some rentals and the daily rate could change for a shorter term.
General
All hires are subject to the terms and conditions printed on the rental agreement.
